个人简介

华东师范大学紫江特聘教授,院长。

上海纽约大学脑与认知科学研究所,所长

博士,1996年,洛杉矶加州大学医学院,神经科学。

博士后训练,1996-1998,洛杉矶加州大学医学院,神经精神病研究所。

 

周永迪博士自2009年至今,在华东师范大学心理与认知科学学院任教授。他在过往的研究中证明初级感觉皮层参与高级认知活动,并证明体感皮层神经元能对与触觉刺激相关的非触觉(视觉,听觉)刺激作出反应,参与对这些非触觉刺激的工作记忆。根据这些研究成果,周教授提出大脑初级感觉皮层不仅参与感觉性质的分析,同时还参与高级认知过程。他目前正在进一步开展躯体感觉皮层对于与触觉信息相关的非触觉信号的认知与短期记忆作用的神经机理的研究(交叉感觉模式的认知与短期记忆)。
