应用心理学系简介

      华东师范大学应用心理学系(The Department of Applied Psychology, East China Normal University)成立于2008年,隶属心理与认知科学学院。本系目标旨在深化和拓展心理学应用研究,促进应用心理科学发展,培养复合型心理学应用专门人才,通过探索心理学原理、理论与技术在社会多个领域的应用,为中国经济社会发展提供心智资源支持,为中国人心理健康、幸福感水平和生活质量提升提供研究证据和专业服务。

      应用心理学系有着深厚的历史积淀,老一辈心理学家如胡寄南、曾性初、邵瑞珍、时蓉华、俞文钊等人的开创性工作,为心理学基础研究和应用研究相结合,加强应用心理学研究,促进应用心理学科发展奠定了扎实基础。应用心理学系的前身可追溯至1984年成立的华东师范大学心理研究所社会与管理心理研究室,应用心理学为社会提供系统专业服务则始于1985年。而今,应用心理学系已成长为一个学科门类全、研究领域广、服务范围宽的应用心理学教学、科研与服务阵营。

       应用心理学系目前有全职教师23名,其中正教授5名,副教授14名,讲师3名,师资博士后1人。本系在临床心理学、咨询心理学、法律心理学、学校心理学、健康心理学、工业与组织心理学、社会心理学、跨文化心理学、积极心理学、环境行为学等研究方向招收学术型硕士研究生;在工业与组织心理学、临床与咨询心理、青少年心理发展与教育等方向招收应用心理学专业硕士研究生(MAP);在管理心理学、经济心理学与决策、心理咨询与治疗的理论与技术、法律心理学、临床心理学和社会心理学等研究方向招收博士研究生。

       应用心理学系紧扣国际前沿并根植本土文化,实行“三位一体”的发展战略:以教学质量求人才培养质量,以研究团队整合优势保持前沿,以科学精神提供社会服务,教研相长、研践互济。如今,本系拥有一批学历层次高、科研实力强、开拓劲头足的教学与研究团队,鼓励交叉学科联合攻关,在系列传统研究领域保持前沿水平的同时,在新的学科发展点上不断有新突破。主要研究方向包括:临床心理、法律心理、性心理、心理健康、学校心理、社会心理、社会化与自我成长、老年心理、社会认知、行为决策、归因、空间认知、积极心理、心理弹性、心理咨询、工作动机、领导力、人力资源管理、激励与沟通、压力情绪管理、消费心理、跨文化沟通与适应、华人本土心理、环境行为及可用性工程等。

 

      The Department of Applied Psychology (DAP) in the School of Psychology and Cognitive Science at the East China Normal University was founded in 2008. Our mission is to enhance and expand applied research in psychology, to facilitate the development of applied psychological science, and to train professionals with multidisciplinary skills. Through applying the psychological principals, theories and technologies in practice, we aim to provide intellectual resource for the economic and social development of China, and to offer research evidences and professional services that are needed to improve the psychological wellbeing, happiness, and quality of life in the Chinese people.

      The department of applied psychology has years of history. Our pioneers such as Professor Jinan Hu, Xingchu Zeng, Ruizhen Shao, Ronghua Shi, Wenzhao Yu, had built a solid foundation for the development of the department. They facilitated the marriage of fundamental psychological research and applied research, and strengthened applied psychological research. The department of applied psychology grew out of the office of industrial and organizational psychology in the institute of psychological research which was founded in 1984 at the East China Normal University. We started offering professional services to community since 1985. To date, the department has developed into a multifunctional (teaching, research and service) center which covers a wide range of disciplines, research areas, and services.

      Currently, we have 23 full-time faculty, including 5 professors, 14 associate professors, 3 lecturers, and 1 faculty postdoctor. We offer a master’s degree in 10 programs (including Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Forensic Psychology, School Psychology, Health Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Social Psychology, Cross-Cultural Psychology, Positive Psychology, and Environmental Behavior Psychology), a master of applied psychology (MAP) degree in 3 programs (including Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Clinical and Counseling Psychology, and Adolescent Psychological Development and Education), and a doctoral degree which may be earned in one of the following 6 programs: Management Psychology, Economic Psychology and Decision-Making, Theories and Techniques in Psychological Counseling and Therapy, Forensic Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Social Psychology.

      Our department is rooted in local culture and keeps pace closely with the international frontier. Our development strategy has three closely connected and complementary dimensions: to guarantee high quality training through high quality teaching, keep a leading role in research by combining the advantages of the research teams in multiple disciplines, and provide high quality service to community based on the scientific spirit. To date, we have established a solid team for teaching and research which consists of highly qualified and innovative individuals. We encourage multidisciplinary research and have made a series of breakthroughs in new research areas while maintaining a leading role in the traditional research areas. Our major research directions include: clinical psychology, forensic psychology, sex psychology, mental health, school psychology, social psychology, socialization and self-development, geriatric psychology, social cognition, decision-making, attribution, spatial cognition, positive psychology, resilience, psychological counseling, work motivation, leadership, human resource management, incentive and communication, stress and emotion management, consumption psychology, cross-cultural communication and adaptation, Chinese indigenous psychology, and environmental behavior and usability engineering.
